How we work

Behind Every Beautiful Piece

What you see is more than furniture. It's the result of thoughtful planning, skilled craftsmanship, and a process built around your needs.

  1. Consultation

We talk about your room, how you live in it, and what the piece needs to do. Bring references, sketches or just complaints about the current furniture. All three are useful.

    Typically 60–90 minutes

  2. Understanding the space

We measure your space properly: walls, sills, sockets, door swings and floor level. Fitted furniture is only as good as this survey.

    Typically 1 visit

  3. Design direction

You receive drawings and, where useful, 3D views, with honest guidance on trade-offs. We refine until you are happy; this is the easiest stage to change things.

    Typically 1–2 weeks

  4. Material & finish selection

Fabric, wood, veneer and hardware samples in your own home’s light. We finalise the palette only when you have lived with the samples.

    Typically 3–5 days

  5. Crafting

Our workshop builds your piece: joinery first, then foams, upholstery and finishing. We share progress photos at key stages.

    Typically 3–7 weeks

  6. Quality check

Full assembly and inspection before dispatch: alignment, mechanisms, finish in raking light. Nothing leaves the workshop unchecked.

    Typically 1–2 days

  7. Delivery & installation

Our own team delivers, installs and levels the piece, scribes fitted furniture to your walls, and walks you through care.

    Typically 1 day

FAQ

Common questions

How long does a custom furniture piece take to make?

Most pieces take four to eight weeks from design approval to delivery, depending on complexity, materials and finish. Larger wardrobes and full-room projects can take longer. We confirm a realistic timeline before any work begins.

Is there a consultation fee?

The first consultation and initial estimate are free. Detailed design work begins once you confirm the project, and we are transparent about costs at every step.

What information do you need for a quote?

The type of piece, approximate dimensions or the room it will live in, your preferred materials if known, and any reference images. With those we can give an initial estimate, refined after the consultation and measurement visit.

Do you deliver and install?

Yes. Every project includes careful delivery and on-site installation by our own team, followed by a final quality walkthrough with you.
